We partner with Practice Plus to provide virtual GP appointments for enrolled patients, as an extension of our regular medical centre team. Practice Plus is available weekdays 5.00pm - 10.00pm and weekends/public holidays 8.00am - 8.00pm.

We pride ourselves on providing the best primary healthcare services to our patients, and as a team we work hard to achieve this. 

Our large team provide primary healthcare to over 20% of the Invercargill community. 

We have plenty of parking available onsite and there is also free parking on the street outside.  Awanui Labs are 1 minute walk away, across the street, and there are pharmacies a short drive away.

Our Services

We offer the full range of services to all our patients.  We have General Practitioners and Nurse Practitioners available to look after you.  

A Nurse Practitioner has completed advanced education and training in a specific area of clinical practice, combining the best of nursing with some skills from medicine. They can deliver a large proportion of the services the average person needs, in terms of minor acute illness and long-term conditions such as asthma and diabetes.

Nurse Practitioners have the same right and access to services as medical staff within the hospital-based services even though they work in primary care. This includes being able to refer patients to specialist services within the hospital. They have the right to order the full range of diagnostics they require within their scope of practice and to refer patients for admission to inpatients services following discussion with relevant clinical personnel.
